Survey insights made easy.

NAMSI provides cross tabulation solutions for custom, international, and U.S. consumer insights survey data, helping media companies, research teams, agencies, and analysts generate reports, schedules, profiles, and reach projections from complex survey databases.

Survey data, made usable. NAMSI combines software, data processing, customer support, and deep media-research experience to help clients turn complex survey databases into practical reports, schedules, profiles, and insights.

Solutions

Cross tabulation tools for syndicated and proprietary survey data.

Since its inception in 1984, New Age Media Systems, Inc. has focused on software tools and support for clients using syndicated or proprietary data in media planning, research, sales, and marketing. NAMSI specializes in PC-based tools that help end users extract reports and insight from survey databases.

Platforms

EzTAB for analysts. EzACCESS for wider distribution.

EzTAB is the deeper analytical workstation. EzACCESS brings secure web-based access to marketing and sales teams that need simple distribution of data insights and analytics.

EzTAB

A client-server system used to crosstabulate, rank, duplicate, optimize, produce cume reports, and calculate reach and frequency projections across the syndicated data a client subscribed to.

EzACCESS

A web-based delivery layer for branded access, decision-tree exploration, secure client distribution, and sales-facing reports created from survey and consumer insights data.

Data processing

NAMSI worked with complex survey sources from major consumer insights companies, preparing data so retrieval and reporting could be faster, easier, and consistent for end users.

Crosstab Rank Duplication Reach & Frequency Optimization Cume

NAMSI's server-centered architecture stored user information, runs, electronic codebooks, and program files on the company's servers rather than on each user's local PC, Mac, or network.

That same design enabled file/session sharing, virtual user teams, telecommuting, and practical support: NAMSI support personnel could share a user's file and advise when questions or problems arose.

Media research workflows

The product was built around complete media research workflows.

NAMSI's product language is practical and report-driven: reach and frequency scheduling, ranked reports, crosstabs, trends, shaded indices, demographic summaries, duplication views, and dashboard-style profiling.

Lineage

From punched cards to analytical workspaces.

  1. 01

    Printed summaries were not enough

Media buyers and sellers needed to ask questions beyond published tables: any question crossed by any other question, with bases, counts, profiles, and audience measures.

  2. 02

    Timesharing opened the door

Early media research systems gave users interactive access to syndicated data through terminals and shared hardware, priced by time or port access.

  3. 03

The PC changed the cost curve

New Age Media Systems proved that tight PC-based software could deliver full crosstabulation capability at a fraction of the older mainframe and timesharing model.

  4. 04

    EzTAB became the workstation

EzTAB centered media analysts on fast crosstabulation, custom definitions, media ranking, and report production for print and later broader media research needs.

  5. 05

    Web delivery broadened the workstation

EzTAB and EzACCESS carried the workstation model into Internet-based access, allowing users to analyze subscribed surveys, share sessions, and distribute client-ready reporting.
